Pentagon Quads - Outies 1
At first glance, this pattern looks like Pentagon Octads Innies 2 . However, there are some differences in the angles.Look at the white, eight-pointed stars implied by the negative space in the figure below. All the stars in this figure are the same shape, and sharper points alternate with duller points. By contrast, the stars in Pentagon Octads Innies 2 come in two slightly different shapes.
Also, the figure below includes perfect squares, at the center of each Pentagon Quad Outie unit. The corresponding shapes in Pentagon Octads Innies 2 are parallelograms.
