Pentagon Octads - Innies 2At first glance, this pattern looks like Pentagon Quads Outies 1. However, there are some differences in the angles. Look at the white, eight-pointed stars implied by the negative space in the figure below. In this figure, the stars within pentagons of the same color have points that are all equally sharp. The stars that are surrounded by differently-colored pentagons have points of varying sharpness. By contrast, the stars in Pentagon Quads Outies 1 all have points of varying sharpness, and all the stars are identical to each other. There is an alternate coloring of the pattern below at Pentagon Octads Innies 2b. |
