Heptagon (7-sided Polygon) Windings

Heptagon Winding 1

Heptagon Winding 2

In Windings 1 and 2, the overlapping of the heptagons creates many smaller polygons with varying shapes. The overall effect is like a flower with many "petals." At first glance, it appears that Winding  0 has many more petals than Winding 1. Actually, they have the same number of petals: 70. However, in Winding 1, the first two layers of petals are very small, tucked in close to the inner circle.

Note that the small polygons around the perimeter are not convex. This happens with some windings, but not others.
