The only recording that I have found of the Dharani of Great Compassion in
Sanskrit was available on the Hall
of Wind webpage as of this writing. In this rendition, the pronunciation
seems to differ slightly from the text as written above. I don't know the exact
reason for this difference. It is possible that the chanters on the recording
are Tibetan or Chinese and so render the chant with a slightly different accent
than the original. It is also possible that the text given above does not
represent the actual sounds very well. Following is my attempt to render the
chant as it occurs on this particular CD:
